Manuscript Collection:
The K.C. Das Commerce College Library has five ancient manuscripts donated by Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan's family.The details of the manuscripts are as follows:

Stack Area: All the processed books (Text and Reference) are kept on 112 bookshelves. The books are arranged in a classified order according to the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme. To assist users, a Class Number Guide is displayed.
Technical Section: DDC 22nd Edition (Dewey Decimal Classification) is used to classify books and other reading materials, and AACR-II (Anglo American Cataloguing Rules-II Edition) is used for cataloguing purpose.
Reference Section: The library has a good collection of reference books, particularly in the field of commerce. The library also updates the textbook collection as per the requirement of users. The Reference Books Section is kept separate from the Textbook Section and is housed on 40 bookshelves on the right side of the stack room.
Journal & Newspaper Section: The stacks next to the reading table contain journals and newspapers. The library currently subscribes to 22 journals and 10 newspapers.
Book Bank Section: The library has a collection of 3,381 numbers of books for book bank, which are issued only to economically weaker section students. A few special categories of students are also given access to the Book Bank in order to motivate and encourage their reading habits.
Circulation Section: For circulation purposes, the library is facilitating barcode and QR Code enabled automated circulation system using SOUL 3.0 software, developed by INFLIBNET Center, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Each member of the library has been given a bar-coded membership card that allows them to check out two copies of books for a period of 15 days, while faculty members are allowed to check out 15 copies. A book can also be re-issued. The library also offers book reservation facility based on the needs of users.
New Arrival Display: Newly added books and journals are kept in New Arrival Display Stands for a short period, to draw and grab the attention of the users.
E-Resource Centre cum Computer Lab: A separate E-Resource Centre with 30 PCs and Internet browsing facilities is located on the first floor of the K.C. Das Commerce College Library which is connected via Local Area Network (LAN).
Community Library: The K. C. Das Commerce College Library has set up a special library for the local residents of the Chatribari area. It includes a wide range of literature, including literary works of fiction, nonfiction, novels, poems, and works of science, art, and culture, and others.
Women Studies: The K.C. Das Commerce College Library also has an exceptional selection of books on women's studies. The collection covers the topics including women's rights, gender equality, the development of women, women's empowerment, women's law, politics, and issues, and so on.
Competitive Examination Corner: The K.C. Das Commerce College Library has established a competitive examination corner to meet the needs of students and assist them in preparing for various competitive and job-related examinations such as NET, SLET, APSC, UPSC, CAT, and others.
North East India Book Corner: The K.C. Das Commerce College Library has a unique collection of books on North East India. The purpose of building this collection is to educate people about Northeast people's culture, ethnography, politics, religion, history, resources, living style, tourism, and so on.
